This model provides an extended frequency range, for improved speech intelligibility and music reproduction applications in retail, office and commercial installations. The die-cast aluminum frame of the 405-8H houses a magnetic structure constructed of heavy gauge steel, and the compact size of the speaker permits either front or rear mounting in walls, partitions and ceilings, into volumes as low as 0.1 cubic feet.
