Electro Voice M-218S Electro Voice M-218S Description: The Electro-Voice M-218S is a proprietary signal processing expansion card for insertion into the front panel slot of a P1201, or the dual slots of a P1202 power amplifier. The module inserts EQ, crossover design, and the one-of-a-kind VCP voice-coil protection circuitry, into the signal path between the above mentioned amplifiers, and a variety of Electro-Voice, and other manufacturer's speakers. The M-218S is matched to the functionality of the Rx-118S subwoofer and provides a low-pass notch filter (LPN) matching the transmission function of the cabinet. Also available is an integrated 60 Hz switchable low-cut filter. When the module is inserted, the amplifier input sensitivity changes to 0dBu.
